WEBENC WBE/ WOSB – Women Owned Small Business Program

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) has established the Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) program to support women owned businesses in industries where they are traditionally underrepresented.

As the most widely recognized certification standard for women-owned business, the WBE certification is recommended for female business owners looking expand their reach with government agencies, non-profits, and large enterprise firms. In addition to exclusive networking and business resources, certified WBEs gain the visibility to compete more easily in the private sector. They also have the ability to bid on set-aside federal, state, and local government contracts.

Certification is administered throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
